Help / FAQ

Answers before you start researching.

Learn how research uses, saved reports, verification, Pro access, and information-safety safeguards work.

What is Mil Marketplace?

Mil Marketplace is an independent workspace for researching Army assignments, comparing saved options, and preparing for unit interviews.

Is Mil Marketplace an official Army or DoD system?

No. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the U.S. Army, Department of Defense, or any military service.

What counts as a research use?

A successfully completed new assignment research report counts as one research use. Failed research does not count.

Does reopening saved research consume another use?

No. Reopening a saved report, comparing assignments, and using Prepare do not use another research allowance.

Where does research information come from?

Research is synthesized from publicly available web sources. Reports can include source links so you can inspect the underlying information.

What does verification mean?

Verification means a source link used by the research process was returned and retained with the report. It does not mean Mil Marketplace guarantees every statement is complete, current, or accurate.

Why might some information be unavailable?

Public information may be incomplete, outdated, conflicting, or inappropriate to include. Mil Marketplace may leave a field unverified rather than fill gaps with unsupported claims.

What information should I avoid entering?

Do not enter classified information, CUI, nonpublic operational or readiness information, vulnerabilities, future operations, private contact details, sensitive personnel information, or other information inappropriate for a public-information research service.

What happens when a Free user reaches three researched assignments?

New research is blocked server-side. Existing saved work remains available to review, compare, and use for preparation.

What does Pro provide?

Pro increases the allowance to 40 researched assignments. Paid subscriptions are not currently available.

How do promo codes work?

An eligible signed-in user can redeem a valid code in the workspace. A code may grant time-limited or otherwise promotional Pro access and may have expiration or redemption limits.

How can I contact Mil Marketplace?
