Acceptable Use & Research Safety
Keep Mil Marketplace appropriate for public-information research.
These rules protect Soldiers, organizations, operations, and the integrity of the service.
Public information only
Use Mil Marketplace only with information appropriate for a public research service. When uncertain about whether information is public, do not submit it. Confirm through appropriate official channels instead.
Never submit
- Classified information or material derived from classified sources.
- Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
- Nonpublic operational information, schedules, movements, or future operations.
- Nonpublic readiness information, capabilities, tactics, vulnerabilities, or security measures.
- Sensitive personnel, medical, family, financial, or disciplinary information.
- Private contact information or personal data that you are not authorized to share.
- Credentials, access tokens, internal systems information, or other security-sensitive material.
- Anything else inappropriate for a public-information research service.
Responsible use
Do not use the service to harm people or operations, impersonate others, violate law or policy, evade research limits, misuse promotional access, probe security controls, distribute malware, or interfere with other users. Do not treat generated research as an official order, assignment guarantee, or selection prediction.
How safeguards work
Research requests are limited to authenticated users and screened through application instructions intended to exclude classified, CUI, operationally sensitive, and other inappropriate content. Rate limits and research entitlements are enforced on the server. These safeguards support responsible use but do not replace your duty to protect sensitive information.
Report a concern
If you believe inappropriate or sensitive information has been submitted or displayed, stop using that material and contact contact@mymilmarketplace.com. Do not include the sensitive information itself in your email.
